Oaia Island - The Coast of Muriwai

Hello to my subscribers! welcome back to another episode of our Muriwai Series. In this video, we provide some educational facts about the scenery we filmed & the history of the Island in the background.

It was a very windy day when we visited so the audio is not the best, however, it made for an excellent display of the rugged west coast surf!

On fine days this beach is packed with local surfers & is a well-renowned surf location! Although not for the faint-hearted as this beach is known for its shark presence due to the seal colony that lives at the back of Oaia Island
