M5Stack Fire Based Reaction Wheel Self-Balancing Bicycle (M5スタックファイヤとリアクションホイールを用いた自己バランス自転車)

Control engineering is one of my favorite subjects for my hobby. I successfully made a self-balancing bicycle using M5Stack Fire, Base-X, and other parts. M5Stack Fire with its Base-X is very helpful for prototyping my self-balancing bicycle. The hand-made reaction wheel attached to a motor is used for balancing the bicycle while the old 9 V Lego motor is for driving the bicycle forward and backward. The battery-equipped Base-X is superb for driving the motor. It is very convenient to use the UIFlow programming environment to design a PC or smartphone remote control for the bicycle. The bicycle frame is made of some Lego and hand-made MDF parts.
