Ministry of Health partners with facilities to strengthen laboratory quality assurance

The Ministry of Health has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with health facilities across the country to strengthen quality assurance in medical laboratories.

According to Dr. Caroline Achola, the Assistant Commissioner for Laboratory and Pathology Services at the Ministry of Health, the government plans to intensify trainings in areas such as tissue sampling, testing, and other laboratory procedures to help health facilities attain the required SANAS and ISO accreditation standards.

She made the remarks during celebrations at Kampala Hospital after the facility successfully received SANAS re-accreditation for its laboratory services.#NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
