On December 5, 1945, Flight 19, a group of five U.S. Navy bombers, took off from Florida on a routine training mission. But something went wrong—they lost radio contact, became disoriented, and vanished without a trace.

Even more bizarre, the rescue plane sent after them also disappeared. No wreckage was ever found. This incident became one of the first and most famous cases linked to the Bermuda Triangle, a region known for mysterious disappearances.
