Most Insane Waterslides in the World
Growing up, I’m pretty sure that you’ve been on a trip to a waterpark at least once in your life. These places provide people with experiences they can’t find in any other place. Waterslides in particular can give its riders thrills, and sometimes spills, that leave them wanting for more. Today we will look at 10 of the most insane waterslides in the world. Make sure you stay tuned for number one because this waterslide takes it to a whole different level.

Number 10. The Master Blaster
Stasnding at six stories tall and boasting of having a length of 1000 feet, The Master Blaster has been voted the best water ride in the United States multiple times. Calling it an extreme waterslide is quite the understatement, in fact, on the day that it opened, it fell on a different category on its own, the water coaster.
Master Blaster combines the up and down thrills of a roller coaster with the unique experience of being propelled by jets of water. Riders ascend to the top of the Blastenhoff Tower where they find two-passenger inflatable boats waiting for them. Once in position on the launch platform, they are sent down a three-story plunge, then back up three stories and into a twisting tunnel. Riders get a brief glimpse of the tower they just left before dropping once again. Master Blaster continues its course, figure-eighting around the tower, blasting uphill and down before entering the climatic pretzel-shaped downward spiral. From start to finish, Master Blaster indeed is non-stop action.

Number 9. The Toboggan
Coming in at number 9 on our list is one that maybe lacks in the thrill factor when compared to the rest of the entries, but it more than makes up for it for its breathtaking backdrop.
The Toboggan, located in Città del Mare, on the coast of Sicily is absolutely beautiful. Not really a single slide but a series of seven smaller slides, it’s perched on top of a cliff, where you can slide a level down into a pristine pool, slide down another level into another pool, then slide down yet another level, finally splashing down on the Mediterranean Sea.
If thrills are what you are looking for, then the Toboggan is definitely not for you. But if what you’re after is a serene place that’s close to nature, offering a precise balance of Mother Nature and modern amenities, then get your passport out and fly over to Italy.

Number 8. The Boeing 747 Waterslide
Just a quick glance at the Boeing 747 water slide in Oregon will have you running towards the entrance. Although it doesn’t offer the adrenaline fueled thrills the other entries in this list offer, the mere fact that this waterslide once flew passengers all over the world makes it completely insane.
The incredible slide sits on the roof of the Evergreen Wings and Waves Waterpark and actually starts from the inside of a real decommissioned Boeing 747 plane before winding its way inside the building and down to the pool below. Aside from taking the slides down to the pool, people also have the option of jumping off the plane, plunging down to the pool below.
This is certainly a curiosity, and admittedly looks quite fun to try out, but this is not the first time a plane has been used for other things rather than its intended purpose. In fact, another decommissioned passenger plane was converted into a fully functioning hotel room. Now, only if someone would take a plane. Turn it into an elevated hotel room, then slap on waterslides for guest to slide down into a waiting pool below, that sounds like the perfect vacation.

Number 7. The Scorpion’s Tail
Designed by engineering firm WhiteWater West, the Scorpion’s Tail is the first, and only, looping waterslide in the US. You start your descent from 10 stories high and travel in high velocity down a 400-foot pipe. Yes, the pipe really does loop. The loop is 27 feet high and curves at an angle of 60-degrees and you’re supposed to go around all of it. No belts, no carts and no seats – just you, splashing water and curving walls all around you.
The Scorpion’s Tail uses sophisticated engineering to take you through the loop and down to the pool.
