Emma Willis Delivering Babies Returns! However, now a fully qualified Maternity Care Assistant, we follow Emma as she tells the stories of families whose birthing plans were thrown up in the air by lockdown in the UK throughout 2020. Emma gets to know them remotely before asking the families to turn the camera on themselves and film their pregnancies and births. Once lockdown restrictions are eased, Emma meets some of the families in person to see how they're getting on.

In this series opener, we meet Chris and Takkies, who recently moved to the UK from South Africa. Takkies is finding pregnancy in lockdown difficult away from her family. In East Sussex, Jay faces a race against time to be at Katie's side for the birth of their child.
