CGS Hawk: Support Your Kit’s Manufacturer!
Just wanted to say a quick word of appreciation for Bob Santom of CGS Hawk Single & Ultra, LLC.

With a lot of flying and possibly unfinished single-place Hawk aircraft out there since the early 80’s it’s not unlikely that you didn’t buy your Hawk from Bob. Please, no matter what type of experimental or ultralight aircraft you have, always take the manufacturer’s advice as the most-reliable source and please be kind, courteous and appreciative of the manufacturer when you are dealing with them. Second-hand owners can be a real strain on support resources as they come-in to the aircraft with only a non-builder level of knowledge and often inherit problems with the aircraft that either the original builders or subsequent owners created. Also, you didn’t spend the money with the manufacturer to buy your used aircraft vs. what you would have spent with them to buy a new kit and receive the same level of support. Always keep that in mind and BE NICE!
