Royal Officemaster 2000 Daisy Wheel Printer converted into a Typewriter
I always wanted a Daisy Wheel printer ever since the 80s -- I had lots of dot matrix, but never a daisy wheel. So I found one on eBay, bought it, and set it up. I'm surprised such an old printer still worked, even the ribbon seems like it was still viable. While I will eventually connect it to a computer (probably the Tandy 1000 or my IBM 5150), I decided to take a short detour and rig a microcontroller to convert the printer into a typewriter.
