President Trump’s Grandfather Died From the Flu in 1918
President Trump’s claim that he’s shocked to hear thousands of people die from the flu each year in America is being met with some disbelief. The skepticism is coming because his grandfather, Frederick Trump, died from the flu during the 1918 global epidemic. In fact, Frederick Trump was among the first American casualties of the epidemic that would go on to claim more than 50 million lives worldwide. The CDC says as many as 56,000 people die of the flu each year in the United States. #InsideEdition
