I was going to do a group motorcycle ride here in Austin but I have not ridden my motorcycle in over a year (as you can tell from my dirty 2009 Honda Shadow 750cc).

So I needed a closed off, safe place to practice and refresh my skills. I focused on slow, sharp turns, and getting used to leaning the bike. The confidence in leaning the bike to turn in sharp corners is super important because if you ever find yourself in a turn, going to fast, the only two ways is to lean more into it or up right your bike and stop.

Obviously I don't ride on the road in shorts and no helmet. I always wear jeans, boots, long sleeve, and a helmet to be safe.
