This Is What 5 Days On A Shipping Container Build Looks Like
This shipping container build needed a guy like Lou - someone who was resilient, determined, and able to face a to-do list the size of an elephant and keep showing up each day even when it felt like it would never stop raining.
A few months back, Lou said that his goal was for us to move into the shipping containers by Max's birthday (May 17th), and he is giving it all he's got to make that dream a reality. This week he fixed the leaky windows, built the window frames, and put walls and the ceiling in.
As I write this, it's almost Mother's Day here in the US, and I can't explain how grateful I feel to have created this little family with Lou. Every day feels like Mother's Day to me, spending time with Max and knowing that Lou is working so hard to build us a family home. Just a few more weeks, and then we'll be up here enjoying the most beautiful summer of our lives!!!
Big hugs,
Dana
