[EN] Port Grimaud is called "French Venice" or "Mini Venice". It is fabulous town built purposely to be just like Venice. It is located seven kilometres south-west of Sainte Maxime and about six kilometres east of Grimaud. The town was the dream of Alsatian architect François Spoerry who in 1962 bought the marshy areas at the mouth of the river Giscle. It has been built with all channels in a Venetian manner, but with the houses having French "fishermans" style similar to those in Saint Tropez.
Grimaud is a very nice medieval village located in Côte d'Azur, not far from Port Grimaud. It is different village from Port Grimaud, which is located at the seaside. On the contrary, Grimaud is classic village perché. In the village area there is also a mill and a castle.

Grimaud est un très joli village médiéval situé sur la Côte d'Azur, non loin de Port Grimaud. C'est un village différent de Port Grimaud, qui est situé en bord de mer. Au contraire, Grimaud est un village perché classique. Dans la zone du village, il y a aussi un moulin et un château.

[PL] Port Grimaud, położony niedaleko "starego" Grimaud, jest nazywany "francuską Wenecją" lub "Mini-Wenecją". To ciekawe miasto zbudowano celowo w taki sposób, by było podobne do Wenecji. Znajduje się ono siedem kilometrów na południowy-zachód od Sainte-Maxime i około sześciu kilometrów na wschód od Grimaud. Miasto było marzeniem alzackiego architekta Françoisa Spoerry, który w 1962 roku kupił bagniste tereny przy ujściu rzeki Giscle. Wszystkie kanały miasta są zbudowane według wzoru weneckiego, jednakże architektura domów została oparta na francuskim stylu "rybackim", podobnym do tego, który istnieje w Saint-Tropez.
Grimaud to ładne, średniowieczne miasteczko położone na Lazurowym Wybrzeżu, niedaleko Port Grimaud. Nie należy go jednak mylić z nową miejscowością Port Grimaud, która znajduje się nad samym morzem. Grimaud to klasyczna wioska położona na szczycie wzgórza. Na terenie miejscowości znajduje się również młyn i ruiny zamku.
