Sanjay Podder - Tech4Good – Innovation Where it is Needed the Most

In his address to the IIEA, Sanjay Podder discusses Accenture’s Tech4Good programme, which aims to bring technological innovation to where it is needed most. Mr Podder outlines how technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality, Distributed Ledgers/Blockchain, and Quantum and Data Analytics, among others, can be used to tackle global hunger, promote access to education and healthcare, support gender equality, empower those with disabilities, democratise access to products and services, and serve the welfare of the planet.

About the Speaker:

Sanjay Podder is the Managing Director of Accenture Labs in Bangalore and the regional lead of Accenture labs in the Asia Pacific region. Mr Podder also leads Accenture’s Tech4Good initiative, which is driven by the belief that technology can transform the world for the better and solve the toughest challenges facing human society. He was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship in 2017 for his efforts in using Technology to help build a just and peaceful world.
