How to setup RAID 5 in Windows using built-in utility - Windows Server 2019 / 2022

Demonstration on how to create a software RAID 5 using four drives and Windows built-in Disk Management utility in Computer Management application. I also demonstrate here that a video can be continuously played during a single drive failure and rebuilt process with RAID 5.

Please note that the hard drives that will be used for RAID 5 will be formatted and re-partitioned during the process. Any data contained within these drives will be lost. Back up all data from hard drives before creating the RAID array.

Hardware RAID controller-based configurations have better performance compared to software-based RAID configurations. The Windows built-in RAID 5 option is a software-based configuration that requires much higher RAM on the device for better performance.
