NG-15 Antares 230+ launches S.S. Katherine Johnson Cygnus
A Northrop Grumman Antares 230+ rocket launched the CRS-15 Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed the S.S. Katherine Johnson, from MARS Pad 0A, at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia, on 20 February 2021, at 17:36 UTC (12:36 EST). For the Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) NG-15 mission, Cygnus delivers approximately 3628 kilograms (8,000 pounds) of research, crew supplies, and hardware to the International Space Station and is scheduled to arrive on 22 February 2021. The NG-15 Cygnus Cargo Delivery Spacecraft is named in honor of Katherine Johnson, a NASA mathematician that delivered calculations that were critical to the success of numerous human spaceflight missions.
