SpaceX Starlink 158 launch and Falcon 9 first stage landing, 23 April 2024
A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched 23 Starlink satellites (Starlink-158 / Starlink 6-53) to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, on 23 April 2024, at 22:17 UTC (18:17 EDT). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1078) previously supported 8 missions: Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER, USSF-124 and 5 Starlink missions.
