In today's video, we demystify the Seiko Spring Drive. Spring Drive is a Seiko proprietary technology that combines mechanical and electrical engineering to create an automatic watch with amazing quartz accuracy.

Fifteen years in the making and over 200 patents after the idea was conceived, Seiko introduced their first Spring Drive watch at BaselWorld in the late 1980's. Today, Spring Drive is synonymous with the highest echelons of watchmaking.
