S21Ep15: Alaska Subsistence Gillnetting for Copper River Salmon!!

Every May and June the Copper River begins to get the most sought after run of salmon in the world. The distance the fish must travel to their spawning grounds requires them to have the highest level of fat and oil. This makes the fish the most flavorful in Alaska.

I flew the cub to Cordova where I met with my friend Freddie and his dad Fred. We went out for a 14 hour opener in search of some big kings and sockeye!
