The Trend is your friend, we’ve all heard that saying, and this phrase is true….. well until its not.

Most traders fail to recognize that one news item, or one institutional investor can change the direction of a trend at any given moment.

Typically, the longer a security trades in a single direction, the less likely it is to continue in that direction in the future.

When we see a trend, we are literally looking at past results in an effort to predict future price movements. But when we trade, we are trading what is happening right now.

But what if you could get into a position before the new trend was even formed?

If Trends reversals take place often, then wouldn’t it make sense to have a reversal strategy?

Today I want to talk about common trend reversal indicators.
I’ll use an RSI indicator to illustrate how you can use RSI divergences to pinpoint exactly where reversal patterns take place.

Additionally, This reversal strategy will incorporate the MACD indicator as we will be discussing MACD divergences as well.
