Relative & Fixed Referencing using Structured References in Excel

Understanding relative and fixed referencing using structured references in Excel is an essential skill. Structured references allow you to work with tables in a more intuitive manner, enabling you to reference table columns by their names rather than cell addresses.

When you format your data as a table in Excel, it automatically creates structured references that simplify your formulas. For instance, if you have a table named "SalesData" with a column titled "Revenue," you can easily reference the entire column using the formula `=SUM(SalesData[Revenue])`.

However, when you copy formulas with structured references across cells you face similar challenges of moving references.

In this video, we will understand how do we fix references for columns with structured references.
