Red fine line in the eye just means that the blood vessels of the eye are just enlarged. This can happen because of various reasons. Most of them are because of inflammation in the eye, because the eye reacts to something which has entered the eye or which is there in the body. Commonest among these is allergy and infections. So if you have to remove these red lines, we have to treat the cause. Most often in the early cases, the red lines are completely reversible. So when we treat the cause the red lines disappear making the eyes more lustrous, more whiter.
