"What are you doing with those Drum Triggers"

This is a question I get asked a lot when I post videos or pictures from my touring gigs. And while i've been using drum triggers with my Roland SPD-SX for about five years, it's still a very unknown misunderstood thing.

So I decided to make the first of many videos to break down how I use them and the Roland SPD-SX as a tools in my live gigs to recreate the sounds of the record in a live setting. This video is simply showing the types of sounds I use in my gigs in context with the drum mix, and taking them away from the mix to show how the impact the sound. I also solo the triggers to let you hear the sounds without the drums to see what types of sounds can be used.
