• THRONE SESSIONS TIPS: have you ever finished a set and was SURE you flopped/bombed it? We just got done with a HUGE CONFERENCE early last week and I was for sure I flopped/bombed my set so much so that it took me more than a week to visit my playback video for critique.

After reviewing the set... it was actually pretty dang solid/good! Moral: Don't let yourself get in your head in the moment. Even if you think it sounds bad in the moment... TRUST YOUR PREPARATION... that's why you PREPARE and PRACTICE!

ALSO... this video features my new setup where I trigger live loops if you saw the video i posted last week with my new live looping rig!

I EXPECT QUESTIONS SO HERE ARE A FEW PRE-EMPTIVE ANSWERS:

1. The drum loop at the beginning was one of the sounds I live triggered as well as the shakers and tambs in the verses/chorus.

2. The SPD is going controlling Ableton where I store all the loops and sounds and I route the sounds back out through my SPD SX

3. I incorporated a foot switch next to my HiHat pedal to stop the sounds which frees up my hands.
