Today's Commission: An Opal Ring Remodel!

Do you have a Ring that was maybe handed down to you or bought many many years ago that has huge sentimental value, but that just isn't your style and you therefore end up never wearing it? Well, you're definitely not alone!
The lovely owner of this Opal ring, for example, was one such person!

She liked the ring, but the setting just wasn't quite her...

So, what to do? Well, why not have it remodelled she thought to herself!

And that's where I came in!

Having decided on a design that both perfectly captured her style and kept part of the ring intact (the band) I could crack on with the remodel, transforming it from an heirloom piece that was aging in a box, to a piece of jewellery that can be worn and enjoyed every day!

In this video you can watch the remodelling process from start to finish and observe the transformation of this Opal ring.

This video is not a tutorial and is intended with the sole purpose of sharing my making process and watching the magic of transforming base materials into a beautiful piece of jewellery.
