Wind Advisory in effect for easterly islands
Trade winds are strengthening across the islands today, with a Wind Advisory remaining in effect for parts of Maui County and the Big Island through tonight. Breezy to windy conditions will continue into next week, bringing passing showers mainly to windward and mauka communities. Showers are expected to be most active overnight and during the early morning hours.
