Direction lock for slider
The counterweighted blue slider can move along vertical runways The pink pawls have 3 sections.
When the center section merges with the teeth of the runway, the blue slider cannot move either way.
When the side section merges with the teeth of the runway, the blue slider can only move in one direction, up or down.
The jade eccentric cam controls three merge positions by lateral moving the yellow slider.
The video in turn shows:
Position 1: the blue slider can go up only.
Position 2: the blue slider can go down only.
Position 3: the blue slider is kept immobile.
The video does not show: motion source and the positioning device (spring-pin type) for the cam.
