Mark Slaughter from the glam metal band Slaughter tells the story of their classic 1990 hit "Fly to the Angels". He came off tour and tried to call his old girlfriend to catch and up and go out and later found out she had passed away... When he went to her funeral, he saw roses all over and the lyrics to this haunting song came to him. Released on their classic album "Stick it To Ya" this song put them at the top of the charts as the 80s turned to the 90s.
