Should you get a stainless steel wok?
For many years, one of my many misconceptions about woks was that stainless steel wok would not hold its seasoning, because it could never build up a patina, a brownish color on the surface of the wok. However, I always love stainless steel cookware because of the beauty and elegance. This also holds true for stainless steel wok. About 8 years ago, I got a stainless steel wok for Christmas. I did not do well in the beginning, but I quickly figured out the adjustments that I need to make in using it properly. Since then, I used it on a regular basis among the ten woks that I use routinely for the purpose of my YouTube channel. In this video, I will share with you my experiences in using my stainless steel wok and several advices.
