Day 6: Icon of the Seas Maiden Voyage (Part 3) #shorts

Welcome to Day 6 aboard the Maiden Voyage of Icon of the Seas!

Today was our third and final sea day and we kicked things off with coffees from Pearl cafe. We then headed to Central Park where we enjoy breakfast at Park Cafe. One of our favorite things about Icon is how you can see the ocean from Central Park, something that wasn’t possible on previous ships and is only possible because of the design of the pearl, which is actually supporting the decks above it.

We then went around to capture some spots we missed for content purposes. We have a lot of helpful videos and information coming your way!

And as you can see, it was incredibly windy on the top deck!

After that, The Hideaway was calling our name. We grabbed a Sunset Spritz and headed into the suspended infinity pool, the first ever at sea!

For lunch, we went to the Windjammer Buffet, and we sat on the inside to enjoy views of Thrill Island & Surfside.

I’ve been wanting a crepe all week, so I made sure to save room for dessert and we headed to Aquadome market next for Creme de la Crepe. It was worth the wait!!

We wanted to make sure to hit Swim & Tonic one more time, the swim up bar at Chill Island. It was a lot less crowded today and was fun since the ship was swaying a bit and it was more like a mini wave pool.

It was a relaxing afternoon.

Back in our room we had Icon of the Seas luggage tags waiting for us as today’s swag. We then got dressed for “Wear Your Best” night and headed to the Trelis Bar in Central Park. We grabbed some drinks and ended up ordering appetizers as our dinner tonight. We shared Caesar salad, Mac and Cheese Poppers and Steak Bites. The appetizers were an upcharge but so worth it – this made our list of Icon of the Seas Awards as the “Why Isn’t Anyone Talking About This Award.” So, so good!

It was then time for Adult Comedy Live at The Attic. The show featured 3 outstanding comedians – our stomachs hurt by the end. Highly recommend!!

We stopped by Dueling Pianos for a bit, did some souvenir shopping, and got some late-night pizza at Sorrento’s. There was more swag in our room when we got back – certificates for being on the Inaugural Sailing.
