The most critical point? Hajipir Pass.

Why is it so important?
Because if India controls Hajipir, the distance from Poonch to Srinagar is just 55 km —
A 2-hour journey!
But without it, you have to go through Jammu…
A route that’s over 600 km long!

Sadly, even after sacrificing lives to capture Hajipir Pass and Tithwal,
India returned them to Pakistan in the Tashkent Agreement —
Under pressure from the U.S. and Russia.
