The best Filipino Beef Tapa recipe! One of the most popular filipino breakfast / brunch recipe ever!!!. Beef tapa is always served with fried rice, sunny side up egg & sliced tomato /cucumber etc & we called it Tapsilog.
"Tap" is short for Tapa (beef tapa)
"Si" is short for sinangag (fried rice)
"log"- itlog (egg)

****BEEF TAPA RECIPE***
1.5 lbs. beef sirloin ,cut into thin slices
1/4 soy sauce
4 Tbsp Lemon juice ( Alt: white or apple cider vinegar ,Calamansi or lime juice)
1/2 Tbsp garlic, minced/chopped
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
oil for frying
