Finishing and Setting Huge Timber Framed Top Plates Alone and By Hand: Tradesman Channel Rewind

A huge part of the timber frame is now complete. Setting the massive top plates...what a task and what a good feeling to have the last of the big timbers set and ready to be pegged. These plates were a real chore to set, along with just getting them to the second floor. This was just one more step along the journey to building this timber frame that I was very happy to finish.
