Leaving home was the hardest but best thing for me.
In this video, I share my personal experience of leaving my home in Hong Kong to move to the UK for medical school, the difficulties I faced, and how I overcame them.
Moving away from family was one of the hardest things I've done but also one of the best because of the things I've learned about myself and the world around me. I know many of you are probably in or will face similar situations - just don't forget to keep your head up, take one step at a time and look forwards 😊

Hey guys! I'm Matt, a junior doctor 👨⚕️working in London in the UK. I've had so many incredible experiences as a doctor and my journey to getting where I am today and so I decided to try put them somewhere: this channel is it! I mostly post about my life as doctor but I put out educational content about things that I think I have something worth sharing, such as about studying, medical school or productivity.
