A Sunday stroll through Central London - Bloomsbury, Soho, Piccadilly Circus.
Starting at Holborn Station we walk up Kingsway and Southampton Row to Russell Square. We then pass through the University of London Campus looking at the buildings of the Institute of Education, SOAS, and Birkbeck College before looping back down Malet Street pass ULU and Senate House to Montague Place and Montague Street.
Our route then takes us along Great Russell Street past the British Museum to Tottenham Court Road and Centre Point Tower. We're confronted with the new building developments on the junction of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street - the enormous Soho Place development. Old Compton Street, Soho was full of life with tables lined up along the centre of the street and queues outside Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.
The final part of our walk goes along Shaftesbury Avenue to see the sun setting over the statue of Eros at Piccadilly Circus.
