DIY Milling Machine

For years I've always wanted a milling machine but they are too expensive and I just couldn't bring myself to pony up to dosh. So I decided to make one myself out of spare parts I had laying around, the results are pretty amazing.
It's not an industrial machine and it seems to work fine making small cuts - perfect for my needs.

Parts used:
Centre Pole and lead screw:
The centre pole is from an old bench grinder pedestal I salvaged from a scrap yard, I machined it and used it as my centre stand, the lead screw was some threaded bar purchased from Bunnings.
Bearings: 30mm flanged bearings, purchased from e-Bay

Motors:
For the table X axis I used a window washer motor from a small car connected to a 12v motor speed controller for the power feed, for the clutch I used a 19mm socket and machines a square to easily engage and disengage the power feed.
For the head I used a hydraulic paint sprayer pump 2400watt motor which I picked up form a recycling centre for cheap.
For the Z axis I used the rise / fall motor out of a treadmill, this motor was perfect as it was already geared to lift a heavy load.
