2016 WA Heritage Awards TV & Radio Heritage
Television and Radio veteran Ken McKay took out the individual accolade for preserving the heritage of broadcasting in WA.
Mr McKay has worked in the industry since 1962 and has since collected and shared photographs, video footage and stories on the website WA TV History and Western Australian Television and Radio Group on Facebook.
Ken was interviewed by ABC Radio 720 the morning after the presentation. Here is an account of that interview.
