First Boat Ride For 2016 - Searching For Gas

Our first boat trip of the 2016 season took us away from our marina to get some fuel for Boogaboo. Unfortunately, our home port marina's underground fuel tanks had reached the end of their life expectancy and had to be removed. The operators of the marina had to work with the landlord to get new tanks installed - an ongoing negotiation process that has only recently been resolved.

Bottom line is that we are hopeful that all parties will come to mutually acceptable arrangement, allowing for not only our fuel supply being returned, but other capital improvements being taken care of as well.

At the end of the day, it was a welcome day on the water, and one that also brought an unanticipated meeting with an inventor/manufacturer of a nifty PWC towing arm. Watch my channel for that video, coming up soon.
