No Ice in December! Plus, Beavers Working at The Marina

We took a ride to the marina to check out the conditions, as we've had some pretty strong winds and I wanted to check that everything was still okay. No problems, but discovered that our resident beavers have once again resumed their clear cutting to construct another dam just outside the marina :-)

No worries, as they're not doing any damage, just gnawing down a few fast growing trees lining the driveway into our part of the marina - they will grow back over time. Apart from that, everything should be looking MUCH better for next season at the marina. I am so looking forward to OUR return in the Spring!!
