Guy Deacon's African Journey - Crisis Point

Retired British Army officer Colonel Guy Deacon is driving from Freetown in Sierra Leone to Cape Town in South Africa to highlight the challenges posed by Parkinson's Disease in Africa. Guy was diagnosed with the condition in 2011
He has now reached Lagos in Nigeria, from where he called Rory Cellan-Jones with an update. The going is proving very tough and he admits he's reached a crisis point, worried that driving solo while coping with his condition may be just too big a challenge. But he has been getting help and still insists he will make it to Cape Town.
