Getting Started with Raspberry Pi, Pure Data and AudioInjector

Yes, and here's exactly what you need to do to get started. No prior Raspberry Pi experience needed.

Follow along and by the end of the video you'll have audio passing in and out of Pure Data, ready for you to do whatever you want with it! I connect it to my guitar amp's effects loop in the video.

This is the first in an eventual series of videos exploring what's possible with this exciting and powerful platform: Raspberry Pi, Linux and Pure Data.

What you need to follow along with these step-by-step instructions:

- Raspberry Pi (the more recent the better - I use a Model 3 B+ in the video)
- AudioInjector audio interface for the Raspberry Pi (I got mine here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HCC0210)
- MicroSD card
- USB keyboard
- USB mouse
- PC or Mac computer for downloading the OS & flashing it onto the micro SD card
