Big Bear Eagles ~ Cookie's Last Morning With Mom & Simba 5.27.19

Jackie gets up at first light to shake the snow and ice from her feathers - you can see how difficult it is for her to get that ice off. Simba gets up and shakes off the snow and does a PS. Cookie sits up but is not well and will never rise to his feet. Simba will lay back down and then get back up an hour later to shake the snow off again and stand up and we see Cookie with his head down. Simba will return to snuggle close to Cookie to give him warmth. Cookie will pass away at 8:22 AM today. RIP sweet baby. My deepest condolences to all the viewers who are watching this nest and are saddened by the loss of Cookie. Rest in peace now Cookie and forever fly high and free on your angel wings. ~~ April 15th - May 27th 2019
