Increasing Tooling Cabinet Storage | Creative Fixturing, Nut Rivets

This video shows the fabrication and attachment of three storage shelves to the side of a tooling cabinet. The mounts to the cabinet are made on the weld table using a fixture created for the purpose. The tooling cabinet is made of 1 mm thick sheet metal and the shelves are held in place using pan head screws fitted to M6 nut rivets. This video includes a demonstration of how nut rivets are fitted.
