A mother-of-three has taken in a baby wallaby like one of her own after he tragically lost his mum - and even lets him live in her 'pouch!'

Five-month-old Barney has been taken in by Laura Robbins, 32, who is a zoo keeper at Dudley Zoo.

He has been living at Laura’s home in Brierley Hill, West Mids, since September 10.

Barney sleeps in a backpack to replicate the pouch which is filled with one of Laura’s jumper to make him feel closer to his surrogate mum.
