Lost in Captivity: Hromadske's Investigation of Ilovaisk Battle

Five years have passed since the Battle of Ilovaisk, the deadliest episode of the Donbas war, which took place in August 2014. 366 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 429 injured during the battle that saw Ukrainians encircled by Russia-led separatists, then shot dead while trying to escape through a humanitarian corridor provided by separatists.
