Discusses the transverse view anatomy in hip 'neutral' versus the flexed position.
Describes how the femoral metaphysis is seen anteriorly in hip flexion.
In the neutral position, the metaphysis is not seen, rather it is the pubis and ischium with the interposing tri-radiate cartilage.
