Dr. Shylock Muyengwa presents the key findings of the conference's Biodiversity Stream

At the closing of the Africa Protected Areas Congress (APAC), Resource Africa's Shylock Muyengwa presents the key findings of the conference's Biodiversity Stream. The inaugural APAC was held from 18-23 July 2022 in Kigali, Rwanda. It was hosted by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the global authority on the status of the natural world and measures to safeguard it. The findings, presented by Muyengwa, explored, among other themes, the role of biodiversity conservation in economic and social development in Africa, and the future of biodiversity conservation on the continent.
