Today’s Visit To The NICU: Daddy Talking To His Son 🤣❤️

Our visit with baby boy today.

Jayceon has been having a hard time learning how to drink out of a bottle so he gets fed through the tube you see in his nose. There's someone who comes in to assist him in learning how. They try once in during the morning shift to drink out of a bottle and once during the evening shift. (That's what they feel he can handle at this moment because it also takes a lot of energy for him & we're moving at he's pace) Unlike before they mentioned that he did really good this morning and took he's bottle really well.

Also, I decided the least that I could do for my baby is breast feed so Baby & I are in the process of transitioning to breast milk. Physically he's not in the position to drink from my breast yet & also being that he's not in my care, I'm using a breast pump and have to bring the milk to the hospital.

Lastly, I can't thank you guys enough for all your kind words and prayers. It gives me so much hope and brings me some sort of comfort with you guys reminding me that everything will be ok. Some days I'm just not ok & it makes it hard for me to stay/think positive. I'm so glad to share my journey with you. If you took your time to write a prayer in my comment section or even an encouraging word, I really appreciate you for that and look forward to it more than you know. I've never read & been into my comment section like I am now. Never met you guys before but I love and appreciate you guys like you're family... an amazing addition to our family.
