This is a long format video. When I embark on a hunting adventure I never know how it will turn out. Ostensibly this began as a duck hunt but as it carried on we ended up being far more successful gathering fall mushrooms and grouse hunting. This was my first time collecting and cooking Witch's Butter (Tremella mesenterica). We also collected oyster, fall oyster, King Alfred's cake, red belt polypore, lion's tooth, and jelly hedgehog mushrooms, some of which we cooked up into a great frittata/open-face sandwich.
