Goose hunting (ganzenjacht) in Holland - Hybrid geese!

This morning I brought Bobby with me. A son from my dog Newtons Joe of Upperclaws (Joe). It was his first big goose hunt so he was a little bit over excited when we started. He is a half American FT. The decoys from DK wai and the electronic caller where doing a great job. In this way the geese are presenting themself perfectly for a good and ethical shot. If you are experienced enough to read the geese, there is no need to shoot too early and therefore shoot them too high. If they want to be there, let them come.

I shot inly Greylags en Canada's this morning.

The geese are a big problem in Holland. They do a lot of damage in the agriculture. At this farm they damage the grassland. They do not only eat the grass but they also foul it with there feces. And because they are with hundreds or even a thousand they trample the grassland. So you get wet and muddy spots in the fields.

I filmed everything with a Gopro 5 and 8.
