Deshnoke, Rajasthan — Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Rajasthan on May 22, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw paid a visit to the revered Karni Mata temple in Deshnoke on Tuesday. The darshan comes as a symbolic gesture of seeking blessings before a major event that will witness the launch of significant infrastructure projects in the state.

PM Modi is set to lay the foundation stone, inaugurate, and dedicate to the nation development projects worth over ₹26,000 crore at Palana in Bikaner. These initiatives span crucial sectors such as Railways, Roadways, Power, Water, and New and Renewable Energy — areas under close coordination with ministries led by leaders like Vaishnaw.

Among the key highlights of the Prime Minister’s visit is the inauguration of 103 redeveloped Amrit Stations located across 86 districts in 18 States and Union Territories. These revamped railway stations are part of the ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, aimed at enhancing passenger amenities and transforming the rail travel experience.

Minister Vaishnaw's temple visit also underscores the importance of spiritual and cultural traditions ahead of milestone events in governance and development.
